Also, perhaps not "Grenglish" but my mother (now age 92), used to refer to Woolworths as Din Exapeni. This derives from the post-War era when, just like the American store, where everything was priced at "5 & dime", so everything in British Woolworths cost sixpence.
Also, Trafalgar Square was called Da Bezunia. This because TS was always full of pigeons.
